Vinyasa Flow $12 per classFrom $12 per visit with Single Visit Drop In passNo purchase required to enroll

Vinyasa yoga is a sequence where the asanas (postures) are linked together in a series of movements that are synchronized with the breath. Much emphasis is placed on the breath and the transition in and out of the asanas. The continual movements, from one pose to another, gives you an added cardiovascular benefit, which more traditional forms of yoga do not have. The routine practice of vinyasa yoga can increase muscle strength, endurance and flexibility, and reduce levels of stress.

Vinyasa yoga offers much diversity. The pace can vary and there is no one particular sequence that instructors must follow. This flexibility allows the teacher to tailor the sequences to their own philosophy. So, if one class doesn't work for you, try another, until you find one that you are comfortable with.

Yin $12 per classFrom $12 per visit with Single Visit Drop In passNo purchase required to enroll

During Yin yoga practice, poses are held for about three to five minutes at a time in order to stretch the connective tissue around the joints and bring the practitioner to a state of mental calmness. When we take time, our nervous systems relax, our minds slow down, our muscles become supple, and our breath deepens. Our inner chemistry shifts towards a biological balance, which one experiences as peace, tranquility and stress reduction. In this class, you will learn to honor and work with your individuality, experiencing for yourself the union of your mind and body.

The Yin portion will be a quiet and meditative style practice in which all poses are done seated on the floor. Yin poses are designed to relax all muscles and allow deep connective and fascial tissues as well as joints and ligaments to be gently stretched. After the sacred space is set and the Cacao has been ingested everyone will find comfortable space to journey deep within. Beginning with a Chakra clearing meditation and then heading on a guided journey to connect with higher-self as well as other higher vibrational energies.
During the journey participants will be bathed in sound healing as well as offered both crystal and Reiki healing.

More information about Cacao
Cacao has been used for centuries to heal the mental, physical and spiritual body. It is a ancient plant medicine, with a high concentration of vitamins, minerals and is a powerful antioxidant. Cacao increases the blood flow (oxygen and nutrients) to the brain and induces the release of feel-good endorphins.

Cacao ceremonies are a type of shamanic healing – which is one of the oldest holistic healing practices used by indigenous cultures all over the world. These types of healing ceremonies work with rebalancing energies in the body to regain health. However, unlike other shamanic experiences, drinking cacao will not make you hallucinate or give you some sort of ‘out-of-body’ psychedelic experience. Cacao instead, is used to gently touch your heart and to guide you into an inner journey deep into the emotional center of our body – our heart (Anahata) chakra.
