Restorative Yoga

Restorative yoga classes involve few postures that are held for longer periods of time, allowing for the release of tension on all levels. Static stretching alleviates the fascia, a connective tissue that covers every muscle, bone, organ, blood vessel, and nerve in our body. Conscious, deep breathing inspires inner calmness through activation of the parasympathetic nervous system. These classes bring restoration and relaxation to the nervous system, organs, muscular system, and consciousness. All levels welcome!
